Poke Loulu: Reviews & Ratings
Great Food. But pricey.. Great location, small parking but super excellent service… poke is clean and simple, they do have 2 options that you won’t find anywhere else. Same with their drink options. Great options that I never heard of… Overall quality worthy and right amount of portions.. taste is good, but not the greatest. Probably too much sauce on today’s lunch.. So I’ll try again next time with less sauce…
My favorite poke place! So glad I came across them, I honestly don’t like going to any other place now for poke, it never lives up. Really good portions, I wish they were open on Sundays, but I totally understand. And they’re always super nice!
I order poke bowls here regularly throughout the year, and I can honestly say it’s always a great experience. The place is always clean, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the staff is so kind. You can truly feel how much love and care the owner has put into this place I 100% recommend trying it while it’s here — even my dog only loves fish from this spot
Came in at an off time so there weren’t many people. Just the 2 owners (brothers?). Both a bit shy but very sweet. We ordered a vegetarian and reg poke bowl, smallest portion. Very generous amount and very fresh.
Was on the hunt for a new poke restaurant, I’m extremely impressed with how fresh the fish/bowl is and it’s filled with so much flavor. The sauces were so tasty! I drove from Sylmar because unfortunately there isn’t a any fresh delicious poke here but I’m so happy I found my new poke bowl restaurant.
Excellent quality food, portions were big and the price was great! Def a little hidden spot for value and quality, you should come try it! I got the crab stack, very pleased and pleasantly surprised!
*Delayed post from May ‘25 Stopped in for a quick and easy to-go dinner around 8:30pm that did not disappoint. My visit lasted less than five minutes and the server/preparer was very kind. The location is very convenient for people in the area around McCambridge Park. It’s on the corner of a strip mall with a laundromat, car wash and dry cleaners. There’s plenty of indoor seating with paintings on the walls and all over the windows. Food wise, I appreciate the customization of the poke bowls, with plenty of cold and tasty topping options to choose from. I ordered a small protein bowl with spicy tuna and shrimp. The shrimp had a good texture that wasn’t overcooked or rubbery, and came covered in a mayo sauce. The spicy tuna had a bite to it, which I appreciated since it can easily become mushy if not stored properly. The bowl also came with a scoop of crab meat, either regular or spicy, and you can choose your base of rice, mixed greens, or a mix of both. I love how many different sauces they offer as a topping, as well as fresh vegetables. To finish off the bowls, they also have sesame seeds and other crunchy options like peanuts and fried noodles. I recommend the ponzu sauce for a tangy, yet balanced experience.
I’ve been gone here for years. This place is absolutely delicious. They serve some of the best poke in town. Their sushi is always fresh. Take my advice and just request their chef Alex to just make you a bowl. He knows what all the flavors are and how to couple them. Their secret little bowl is chicken bowl which one overlook. I know it’s a pokey place but trust me you have really good chicken. All in all this place is a 10/10 and will soon be a staple in Burbank.
